In Haitian Voodoo, "Veve" are the Symbols that represent the Spirits of the Gods, or Loa . There are hundreds of "Loa" (Haitian deities). Each Loa has its own geometric drawing therefore Vèvè are numerous and varied. The Vèvè are the signature of the Gods. They are called upon to concentrate the energies of a particular spirit.
